People are always looking for a good alternative, but they wont switch unless you made it easy to switch - hence the need for an official port which works (with ACL, if possible)

They should seriously work on creating official ports for other mainstream devices.
If I could run sailfish OS on a Z3Compact - I would pay to buy the OS
If they just sold the OS for a price...

If you could create very slight depressions in the top surface of the keys one might be able to use stickers (think the place to put initials on a briefcase/suitcase)

Its more of a guide channel for the force of your thumbs, coz if someone applies uneven pressure you may end up detaching the top half - and that would be bad news for the phone :)

Agree with this observation.
When the top half has the phone in it, the force needed to slide the pad open may be more due to the weight of the phone (think pushing with thumbs)
