Already in Finland there were people who ordered from DNA webstore a week ago and received Jollas before people in Finland who had pre-ordered from Jolla in May.

When people registered, Jolla promised - on many occasions - to respect the pre-order priority. They have not. Orders from May are still not delivered while orders from September have been delivered....

It was never 3-4 weeks from December 2nd, but from the date of final order (when people randomly finally got their webstore invites, which didn't come in pre-order order). So for most people 4 weeks...

...and not only that, Jolla didn't respect the pre-order order they promised to (not for webshop invites nor for actual shippings), so people who ordered their phones in September got them earlier...

Yes, your story is unfortunately a good summary: not respecting the pre-order priority (a May order not yet shipped, think of it) and then no communication. Not a good combo.

As I've understood, the Jolla order notification process goes like this:
1) First hint is that the order goes from Paid to In Picking. This is the one big bit of really good news, others are not...

Some Finnish reports say that Jolla might have finally gotten to the 3xxx level in the webstore order sequence. There are still plenty of people stuck at Paid, though - including first wave orders.

That is definitely not the order they are following though, if they are trying to imply an order. Second wave orders have shipped while some day 1, wave 1 orders haven't.
