Re: Jolla at Slush 2014

So. It's a tablet. Powered by Sailfish OS 2.0.

Personally I'd prefer them to actually finish Sailfish OS 1.0

[WIP] Refreshed icons for Harmattan

I've got a little side project going making some "modern" icons for Harmattan. Same squircle design but with flatter colors/glyphs and some subtle transparency. Here's a few I've got so far:

Re: from MeeGo to BB10 what MeeGo should have been

I too moved from the N900 to N9 to a Blackberry Z30, and now the Passport. I really like it. I missed the OLED screen though. I wish that there had been the optional successor to the Meamo/Meego...

Re: from MeeGo to BB10 what MeeGo should have been

I have also migrated from a N9 to a z10 (BB10) and I must say that overall I am not regretting it.

What I loved about Meego was the community like this forum, the spirit of open-source,...

Re: from MeeGo to BB10 what MeeGo should have been

Can some one please explain how Jolla can perform so well and "not far from HTC One or even iPhone 5" with the HW like this?

Some magic maybe. :)

Re: from MeeGo to BB10 what MeeGo should have been

I did not claim it being unusable. But it is awful, you can still use it. Like what just said - poor and sub-par.

I'm talking about "normal" comparison with similar group, I didn't even...

Re: from MeeGo to BB10 what MeeGo should have been

Jolla's HW problem is not about spec it self. If we only look at spec: Yes a qHD screen is perfectly acceptable, but the spec does't say it's not bright enough even with 100% brightness, spec also...

Re: from MeeGo to BB10 what MeeGo should have been

Jolla's hardware is a pain - poor dim screen with cold colour and impossible to read under sunlight. Poor camera. Outdated HW, unfished OS, countable native apps.

BlackBerry has none of these. I'm...
