also, rooting and installing Ubuntu in chroot on a sdcard was nearly as easy as EasyDebian. You can chroot or ssh into it and or access X11...

IMHO geek add-ons or not, I fear this to be ridiculously overpriced at the beginning.

Actually, the camera is the first 16:9 wide angle lens. You get more HD photos than with other Nokia smartphone.
And the processor... we need 60 FPS for transitions and 30 FPS for video, nothing...

i'll go out on a limb here, but maybe that's because i'm a normal user (no developer, no power user -yet, no linux know-it-all)... but i think that this phone is the best that can happen to meego......

I would prefer camkeyd. The camera key is in the perfect position for the indexfinger when you hold it in landscape mode. For swiping you have to move your fingers/hand.
