I was excited until I saw the move away from being a Debian based distribution. As a developer and Ubuntu user, I loved it. Now, I'm sad.

EDIT: I was also sad when Moblin made the switch.

That's just too bad IMO. .rpm is inferior in every way to .deb.

Actually, du is likely to be far higher than reported by df, due to the filesystem compression. Mine reports 355M from du, and 190M used from df.

Be careful with terminology, folks.

o RAM: RAM is always physical RAM. In the N900 there's 256MB of it.
o There's no such thing as 'virtual RAM'.
o Swap space: Resides in the built-in flash...

Actually, 203 is UK (and probably 205 for Vodafone branded) - 003 is Middle East/North Africa.

I think you are correct that the package has been unistalled.. but I did a little searching and 002 is US only, 003 UK only and generic for other countries like Finland.

Here's a simple howto for those suffering from lack of space in rootfs:

The first one is more of a temporary matter, for example to get enough space to install an update, but it's also the fastest...
