The good thing is that this isn't exclusive, it means that Nokia can pump out WP7 phones to turn a healthy profit and at the same time continue working on MeeGo for the future in Tablets and Phones...

0. In the end it doesn't matter who first implemented the idea. It's not about credit, it's about sales. Right now the smart phone-buying public wants an "app store" and Apple gave them one....

You want old Nokia back? The one that put nothing behind Maemo (any iteration) and produced a phone with a wonky microUSB whereas prior phones and internet tablets with microUSB ports didn't pull...

I played around with the HTC 7 Pro over the weekend.. and.. i must admit, i was pretty impressed by WP7.. it's functional.. snappy and looks the part. It wouldn't be the end of the world if Nokia did...

WP7 won't die that easily - it already has a very big developer base.
MS's development tools are too comfortable to ditch.

I don't exactly recall what you mean by 'not built for a month' - we had some down time with the ARMv7 build but all the due while we were doing ARMv5 images. We uncovered...
