Yeah, I can vouch for the legitimacy of Negri Electronics--I've bought two N9s from them.

For Americans, they are a good choice for devices that don't have official distribution in the US.

You can't use omap1 kernel with cssu-thumb. The latter require thumb workarounds in kernel.

I also strongly advice to use U-Boot instead of multiboot, but that's off-topic here.

Sure, but if the patch that we have in maemo PA can be forward-ported, I guess those modules will continue to function. Or there can be made some "compatibility layer" to support those closed parts...

Also same problem for me. After installing kp52 there is no option in multiboot for booting kernel power 52. Only old kp51 option which gives guru mediation error.

The solution is said to be "iw set reg EU" but that doesn't help you if you don't have the "iw" package installed and you cannot connect to the Internet because the WiFi access point you need to use...

you need to setup cssu testing repository according to mirror since the default one (now up sometimes) has cssu T6 instead of cssu t7
