I now see why so many people are so angry at Elop for abandoning Meego. I just got my N9 3 days ago and the OS is wonderful. Could use some polish here and there and features that add some user...

That isn't being officially endorsed by Google though, and without the developer of the actual OS pushing Qt, many devs might stay away from it.

I know its stupid as theres no harm to Google by...

The question is not when Meltemi will be ready for market, but whether Nokia will survive as a company capable of producing and selling handsets with in-house-produced software until that day...

I don't want to subscribe to google. It's something to do with Privacy of data, information being taken without my authority & consent. Being uploaded to google servers or being given to just anyone....
