Funny you mention that, with the fiasco of phone app uninstalling from warehouse seems like binaries are safer (we have extras-devel and then jump to extras, no -testing it seems)

Because SailfishOS is the 'true' Linux mobile OS with full Qt support. (I hate the JavaVM bullsh*t on Android)

well i have m4a alac files in 24bit and media player does not see them. but strangely i can play them from file browser in the lls vPlayer native video player.
so yes sailfish can play the files...
