I can confirm that the current N900 can do voice on Rogers/Fido, but it only shows "2.5 G" for data and has dismal data rates.

1: you have to have the marker in a text field for the middle button to work. as for thumb, that only works well if you hitt the right end of the text field
2: you can turn it off, get the stylus...
