Ok here it is, I found the difference.

I created a "ssl.defs" file in "/etc/osso-af-init/". I will attach the file.
Furthermore I edited af-defines.sh in the same folder.

looks like a dns issue maybe only related to the terminal. I tried it on some Ubuntu and was getting a file not found. This is reasonable because a German tile from an US map server is not possible....

Native X11 drivers.
X11 forwarding makes it easy to display and interact with applications on my desktop and vice versa.

If you want an N900 then I think you should just get an N900.

Instead of buying a "new" one from East Asia, do what I did. Buy one used from some guy in Texas (or wherever) through Ebay for $150....
