History repeating itself again.

A device is released, Nokia (relatively*) quickly stops supporting it, people complain, Nokia says the next iteration OS will end world hunger and that of course it...

My impression was that everything of substance has already been asked for and turned down by Nokia, as recorded in the relevant bugzilla entries. Is this a new message that they're willing to revisit...

I'm very pleased that Maemo applications will most likely be able to run on Meego, and this is not just for the apps: it's because behind every app there are one or a group of people from this...
