I think the main issue regarding battery drain using stock IM, is that IM itself will mantain connection open (3g or wireless) resulting in quick battery drain.

It fixes the connection problem (new protocol). Registration fix was done by coderus but not released yet.

2) You do not have to kill yappari and restart it to connect/disconnect. You can leave it running in background, it won't try to connect but will wait until there is a network connection available...

In /home/user/.yappari/logs there are the different logs (sqlite databases) for each and every number you've chatted with before.

So all you need is to run the following to export a conversation...

In the meantime, I normally do this via sqlite. Works just fine. Not to say it shouldn't be added :)

Ok, here's a quick fix:

SDK doesn't let me build deb file, but you can replace binary file (it's in /opt/maemo/usr/bin folder) if you don't want to wait for ceene's official release.

People is NOT BANNED since they are receiving the SMS with the Whatsapp Code when they try to register.

Users that stills using whatsup 0.3.4 (with 1.2 protocol) has same issue.
You're not getting banned, you need to update protocol.

Btw, how sure is it that this is a protocol issue? I was looking at my phone's behaviour and the WA server drops the connection after Yappari sends a challenge response.

erm, my yappari just randomly stopped connecting. It asked me to register and that didn't work. I noticed a new update, did that on both phones and still cant register, even with inputting the code....

I had this 20% problem 1000 times...solution is simple:

-remove Nokia Suite from startup list
-restart Windows
-open cmd as Admin (DON'T start Nokia Suite)
- flash it as mr_pingu sugested:
