Same here in Canada...concerning unlocked phones ...cdma...and telecom giants....I'll have to gaargle around and rout out some answers...

At the moment, modRana only does offline routing from point to point (using Monav), offline map rendering is not yet supported (but planed).
BTW, you can get more up to date Monav routing data...

I think (in my very humble estimation) that all the "I-don't-know...and I'm-not-sure...that-this-is-such-a-great-idea..." posters should perhaps just wait for the final verdict after prototype...
