Re: [Announce] FFmpeg 2.5.4 + 2.6.3
Have 2.5.4 thumb installed at the moment. Playback wise I get no error, just stats displayed. Video playback is not smooth with default settings, audio plays fine but image lags.

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900
short update: I'm starting to ask for proper sourcing quotes, to give a more reasonable (=economic) cost estimation. As already mentioned our BOM (Electronic components 340 EUR) is based on readily...

Re: [ANNOUNCE] rtmpdump & get_iplayer
Tried to prep 2.94 for the repos at the weekend. Build is fine but testing raised an issue. Downloading cache works fine but actual programs fails due to a pid metadata issue. A bit of experimenting...

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900
short status update:
Ivo (freemangordon) and Nikolaus cooperted today to bring up OneNAND of the PoP chip, we still see some issues in kernel, but it seems under uBoot the NAND works, so we're...

Re: Why not ditch Maemo and work on a new OS?
For me the issue is outdated libraries, plain and simple. It is preventing ports, making others far more difficult and causing me to have to test a number of different work arounds for each package....

Re: Why not ditch Maemo and work on a new OS?
You probably like Debian for its (mostly) well-working package management. And although Maemo uses the same tools, it's a totally different story here. Debian's ease and stability doesn't come with...

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900
If you have done any training than you will have zero problems. N900 is very "friendly" when it comes to disassembling/reassembling. Particulary for a slider device. Nothing is glued, no hidden...

On other news: Nikolaus / GDC just told me that $other_project workload dwindles and there are working hours available for Neo900 in ~3 weeks.
