I have already changed refund campaign to a much lower(cat 2) level since jolla initiated 2nd refund payments. But I guess it will pop-up a message from time to time if no info hit e surface....

This statement is ungrounded. Sailfish is not open system, you cannot build it end-to-end (libhybris based). So it _may_ still spy on you without your knowledge. That's what librem targets to...

To be more precise : FlashTool need to have full read/write access to all the various USB devices that the Xperia X will present to the system.

sudo is a quick shortcut to get the things done....
