You all three are right. Cover swipes are not mentioned in Tutorial. I also thought they were buttons when first saw them. The only place I learned about cover swipes was one casual comment on TJC.

Thumbterm is a bit modified fingerterm, good for roguelikes or mc as arrows do not trigger kb highlight, has ANSI fixes so you can use xterm terminfo, also rotates fully (and has awesome colours)
