FLV files definitely play on the N900. If they won't on your device, perhaps you've accidentally uninstalled flash player or...

:) :) With all the codecs, containers, converters, processors, and displays floating around today, that's a pretty tall order. Throw in the fact that the quality of the source video you start with...

It is the backup of the first sector of the partition, which should be copied with dd on low level.

With error message the is no access on file system layer anymore. There is no mount, umount or fsck.whatsoever!

Try to copy the partition table back with the dd command i pm'ed to you to get it,...

But be prepared that 'fsck'ing that way may lead to a bricked device, as it did for me once. So backup is important!
But I really had file system problems with unreadable files and NFS stale files...

install backupmenu into your device & reboot your device with your keyboard slider open...this will boot backupmenu....now ignore any error on backupmenu startup....

remember Gparted Live CD need backupmenu (mass storage mode)...

ooks like you also have a deeper problem.
"Cluster size is zero" does not sound good, i.e. your space on your first partition is zero or not available at all.

And why would you want skype on the phone without contacts??? You can easily delete your skype account and your problem is solved.

Don't know for google but for skype I would say definitely NO....
