Don't know about Android app, but I've made a quick & dirty bash script for automatic checking of my order status, if anyone interested:

Re: Jolla tracking numbers

The best "compensation" I could think of personally is that the first backers get an actual vote on the priority at which core usability and security features to fix first.

Re: #JollaLoveDay - 20th May - device announcement

I kind of disagreee here... Whats a camel; a horse designed by committee.
You cannot get a clear design vision out of polling randoim dudes off the net, sorry.
Might sound a bit elitist but it's a...

Re: UK Three phone network

Works fine for me with a 3 PAYG SIM. The free data allowance (100MB for 90 days with every top-up) is more than enough for my needs.

Re: Maemo 6 and/or MeeGo on N900: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

I'm not sure where RPM vs DEB debate came in all this. There is a problem with Nokia claiming M6 is a MeeGo instance I am wondering a bit about from a technical point of view. On packaging level it...

Re: Maemo 6 and/or MeeGo on N900: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

Kernel drivers are already open, but the good thing is - they don't need to open battery management, etc, just allow people to distribute them to Nokia devices and set up a legal framework for this....

Re: Maemo 6 and/or MeeGo on N900: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

My personal belief is that the situation is even BETTER than how stskeeps has itemised.

Not only should you not worry, but be prepared for a new age of choice, increased innovation,...

Exclamation Maemo 6 and/or MeeGo on N900: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

Okay, Listen very carefully I shall say this only once.

EDIT: For those too damn lazy to read the whole post, please read: You're in good hands. Stop worrying. Your N900 won't break when Maemo6 or...

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras

yes, why didn't you spot the abuse first, contact necessary persons and handle this with closed doors? or even better: predict such an abuse and prevent it technically.

it is so easy to say...

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras

Clearly defined and circumventing are a matter of opinion. That's what I was trying to point out. THe fact that a single user can only vote once is a pretty "Clearly defined" limitation. Just...

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras

Because uploading to Extras is a privilege, not a right, and comes with certain rules. You are free to debate them and try to get them changed, host your own repository elsewhere, or even just throw...

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras

I'll second the idea that the council should be issue a statement on this. It seems that perhaps this is one of the things that they should have a hand in.

I'm waiting patiently to buy Rovio's...

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras

The more I think about it, the less I think that's true. The process seems pretty reasonable; updates are queued, testers vote, things are promoted after sufficient votes. It seems pretty obvious...

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras

Re: SIO2 Interactive spamming votes to get his/her applications to Extras
