Re: Maemo-Leste pre-alpha announcement

In its current form, Leste is only developed for mainlined devices. Using Halium or similar is not officially supported. Doesn't mean it can't work, but it is not the focus of the project at least as...

Re: Applications Wishlist

Modern web browser, XMPP/Telegram client (looking similar to Conversations), IMAP client, hotspot manager, document viewer and music player (MPD client would be good enough).

Re: Are you Ready? F(x)tec Pro 1 HW Keyboard Phone

Re: Are you Ready? F(x)tec Pro 1 HW Keyboard Phone

Remember also that the Proš is not crowdfunded (I know some will say it is almost the same due to the delays since payments, but well, it still is not a crowdfunded project), meaning F(x)tec had...

Re: Are you Ready? F(x)tec Pro 1 HW Keyboard Phone

It really hard to tell. But I wouldn't expect a price drop. Main reason for that is basically if you have large quantities in stock that you need to get rid of or you want to get market shares.

I...

Re: Purism Librem Phone

First: It's not Qt. I'm actually quite glad as it brings back some competition to the market. Maybe not the correct choice of words but having an alternative approach is good for seeing things from a...

Re: Purism Librem Phone

You are incorrect in both cases (multiple libstdc++ & CVEs) - Flatpak works with the concept of runtimes, which generally contain the core and security sensitive libraries and provide a stable API...

Re: Purism Librem Phone

For the question 1, I think they have nothing against it. On the contrary.
Looking at the blog post https://puri.sm/posts/gnome-and-kde-in-pureos-diversity-across-devices/, they said they want to...

Re: Nemomobile glacier UI. anyone seen it ?

What exact version of SailfishOS 2.1 did you install this on?

Great job! This looks to be a proper packaging of gcc (in contrast of my approach where I stuffed all to /opt)

@neochapay, have you tried to compile anything demanding with it?

How does...

Re: Jolla - alike, or how Jolla adopted the Google's anti-open-source practices.
