Installation with dpkg is taking a _very_ long time, hildon crashed, ssh connection broke, have to reinstall from osso-xterm now...

I compiled python 3.5.6 against openssl 1.1.0 this package is untested. But you are welcome to test it.
It was created like the same method used by python3.4 package.

"skipSystemCheck = True/False" is not available from the GUI. When true the widget checks if "respawn" is active for sshd. If so you get asked to confirm deactivating it.

Try to find the passage where the code stops working on your device.
Please open your config file and change:
skipSystemCheck = True
trackingEnabled = False
and restart the status menu:
