Re: Flip clock pre pre pre pre release
Don't be ashamed, ciroip!
You asked developers to write the code for you, but nobody did, so you wrote it yourself! Excellent!

Re: Nokia N97 Announced
I'm with fpp. The whole point about having an internet tablet - for me - is that it acts as a "co-processor" for my phone. It offloads everything except for the making and receiving of phone calls...

Let me understand. People that create for the love of technology and share for free with others are a disapointment to you. Clearly the quality and completetness of open source software varies as it...

People care much more about "just works" than abstract concepts of "freedom". And Skype "just works" through firewalls, across routers, around proxies, etc... without having to fiddle with opening...

Re: Future of Internet Tablets
This is true.
That is patently untrue. The buttons are there, originally, to serve a necessary purpose: functionality. The manufacturer then tries to save cost by moving those features elsewhere...

Re: Future of Internet Tablets
So you're saying that non-techie people are just a flock of sheep?
You're getting quite good of missing the point though. ;)
I'm not against simple interfaces, i'm against not having a choice.

Do not power off your tablet at night to charge it. It is more wasteful of energy. If you "power off" your tablet, then plug it into the wall, the tablet screen lights up again and says "Charging"......

Mugen 3.6Ah battery for N800 modders
I just got a Mugen HLI-E61XL here; it's intended for the Nokia E6[12] which takes the same BP-5L as the N800, and comes with a cover suited to that, and (unsurprisingly) not at all adaptable to the...
