I've used Antti's patch for a month now, maybe a dozen runs and bike trips altogether. The delay is reasonable, connecting to the belt takes a handful of seconds and the heart rate is displayed after...

It's all undocumented, really. Qt Mobility (http://doc.qt.nokia.com/qtmobility-1.0/index.html) may have interfaces for this sort of stuff, I don't really know.

You could look how the track is saved in mappero. At least maemo-mapper on N8x0 kept the track even if the battery went out.

I just tested the HeiaHeia upload with eCoach and it's great feature! However the limitation for naming the activities isn't so great. There should be some more choices or at least the Notes...

IMO then keep same name. Adding QT in the name just makes it harder to read. It gives information to some users, but is it after all so relevant?

eCoach is the main name of the program and right now you have situation weher you two entities of same app. Just with different framework.
So do you want that these programs show one after another...

I'm on same boat here, no need to add qt in the application name. Maybe just name it to eCoach 2.0 and Other profile would be nice to have.
