2 options... 800, 866, 888 numbers are free direct dial through Gizmo. There is also backdoor dialing which is limited, but free.

I have this problem as well. I remember that there was some workaround, but it did not work for me, and maybe it won't work in diablo at all. Usually I don't need this feature, so its no big deal....
