Re: Jolla at Slush 2015

CTO, R&D - we had a shared CTO office, me and Harri Hakulinen.

Re: Jolla tablet countup to delivery[Now With Poll]

Ok, I'm kinda disturbed by this "trusted review". :) The date on the article is Oct 6th, and the images embedded in the article are indeed of the most recent version of the tablet. However, there...

Re: Jolla tablet countup to delivery[Now With Poll]

People will complain about the price when they compare it to the cheap tablets you can get from China running old versions of Android as opposed to comparing it to the more expensive iPad Mini. At...

Re: Why Intel Atom?

What the f*ck are you talking about? First and foremost, UEFI is actually about interoperability, and most definitely not about "shutting out third party software". Plenty of the stuff it does...

Re: Jolla Tablet

I agree 100%. That's why I changed over 10 years ago from Windows to GNU/Linux. That's why my music is stored as OGG Vorbis instead of MP3 or other MPEG formats, my chat accounts are XMPP rather than...

Re: Darwin/ARM running on a Nokia N900

Well, I for one second Wikiwide's willingness to contribute money to get one (or more) of you an N900. Personally, I'd rather see people reversing N900 components so that we can get a purely-libre...

At least where I live, using 3G/4G for net access is outrageously expensive, if it even exists -- practically half...

Re: Darwin/ARM running on a Nokia N900

The ARM bringup was done by a winocm (http://www.reddit.com/r/technology/comments/1rchtp/ios_core_ported_to_nokia_n900_opens_door_to_ios/cdmkgf7).
