you can use "recaller" (the voice and call recording widget app) to record whatever you are playing

This is a really fun application!

However it seems to take up ~1.7 MB on rootfs, and I can't find it under /opt/.

Can you please optify it?

Thanks! I really like this app. one thing that might be cool with the keyboard version is to use sudden changes in finger placement (instant massive movement without lifting) to infer chords.

Most probably the site has a bug and thinks that 0.9.15~test5 is greater than 0.9.15-1 but this is not the case.

Debian Policy 5.6.12 states: "the lexical comparison is a comparison of ASCII...

Update: there is a utility out there called abc2abc (http://linux.die.net/man/1/abc2abc) that I think will do the trick. This is packaged with abcMIDI (http://abc.sourceforge.net/abcMIDI) and abctool...

Just the opposite -- "c" is one octave higher than "C". Why, you ask? I have no clue. :)


No clue. :) I actually haven't studied abc in any depth -- it just occurred to me that it is a notation...

Because it says it's in the key of "F" and the key of F has Bb, not B. Works fine for the computer interpreting it, but not friendly to musical beginners. :-)

Someone earlier was asking for abc versions of songs -- i.e., where the tune is written out in letters. It just hit me that there is an open-source notation scheme (http://abc.sourceforge.net/)...
