I disagree with iphone being an overall better phone... I have had an n900 for the past year and a half and I have toyed with android off and on (am using an Xperia X10 now as I wanted a slimmer...

It comes with Joikuspot's implementation with Ad-Hoc. However the kernel is 2.6.32 which should support infrastructure no matter which chipset using the new wifi architecture that was in .32...

Because we occasionally do improve the ARM support and break things and have to deal with issues that show up on ARM and not on X86 :) Sometimes you'd think X86 has error-correction built-in.
