Agreed on the larger battery.
I prefer the resistive screen. I still have an affinity for a stylus. I don't use it all the time but frequently enough that I'd miss it.

good news. deinstallation prior to upgrading to PR1.2 doesnt seem to be necessary.

It does for me, but it really uses the CPU. It uses so much CPU that any extra activity causes the sound to stutter. So I wouldn't bother using it for much.
There may be a setting you need to fix....
