That is normal - I have the same. N900 eats its battery in no time when used fully. The battery that I got with my first N900 two years ago...

What's with the mediaplayer background as the UI? You know that takes into account that the background has 4 buttons on it, so on stock theme it looks very annoying.

Higher resolution video has better detail than the lower, because detail is there to begin with.

Thanks for the bump, been meaning to do this but work's been a little crazy.

The focus group date changed for me once as they had too many people turn up. So this also added to a delay in posting...

You can MediaBox for accessing YouTube. It gives you a choice of available compatible formats. (Note: 720p and 1024p are not compatible with the N900, though)

I confirm, I had this bug at the very beginning, and a simple battery removal solved the problem
