Keep it that way, AFAIK only hildon-desktop should be updated to non-thumb version.

I will wait for 1-2 weeks to see if everything is ok with latest -testing and if it is, will issue a new -thumb...

You mounted the partition where home/user and /opt of the maemo system are located in the first place to /and. You did not manually control the removal of the folders that belong to Nitdroid, but...

This should work. If not write output of: dpkg -l ke-recv

Like pali said the repo now contains a fixed build that should work fine for everyone (ke-recv version 3.19-15) the metapacakge also got updated to 3.1 so anybody who didn't try to update yet should...

merlin1991 now pushed fixed version to CSSU T repo.

But before upgrading from bad version is also needed to remove that dead symlink /etc/init.d/ke-recv

Problem with ke-recv is because MAG did not used correct fremantle dpkg & debhleper version and created bad ke-recv package.

If it is normally in /usr/sbin you should copy the new version (after uninstallation) to /usr/sbin.
