Premature optimisation is evil - get things working first, then add all the things that make a nice user experience. We needed to have the stack working first and stable, then we can work on it...

Epic patch mate! It got cleanly patched against the newest source (1:2.2.142) so here's a deb with the scrolling fixed and the catorize + hd bug fixed....
