Here is what you can do:

1. First reset the "Device Lock" code to 1234 from Menu > Settings > Device Lock
2. Flash your N900's FIASCO/rootfs image from here...

I would agree about the negative and disagree about the positive. I dislike "My N900 is awesome" as much as "My N900 sucks" and if I never see an "I think it's great - go buy an iPhone" post it will...

Just got off the phone with the ISP help desk.
The fix goes to tomorrow morning.
