It's now goodbye to my lovely trusty N9, the device died today of natural causes (battery blew up like a balloon)
I managed to get constant uptime of 1266 days of it...

While Mer & libhybris (being the base of SailfishOS) theoretically support MediaTek SoCs too, all ARM-based devices running SailfishOS well...
