Your looking at the wrong directory, your available rootfs should XXmb, to check download either conky or health check, both are really usefull apps to have anyway.

cd\ enter
md .videos enter
You then should have a directory on the c drive called .videos
put your videos...

You'll need to use a text editor to edit /home/user/.config/tracker/tracker.cfg . You can use vi (already installed) or you can install another editor using apt-get. Make a backup of the file...

I've seen in another thread that the software wich indexes and find média is Tacker.
Openning a Xterm, you'll find its configuration in .config/tracker/tracker.cfg
There's an option to ignore...

You're better installing via the repository - that way it can pull in any dependencies automatically. The only advantage to using xterm is that you don't need to set up the repository.

Yeah, exactly. Most of them come out at around 700-800MB for me with MP4/H264, but the quality is better (I think!).
