Anything under MyDocs (which is where the video, music, pictures, etc default to) is on the 32GB eMMC.

Applications from the Ovi store will be optified, so larger apps and data will go to /opt...

Yes. If you transferred the .deb over with USB mass storage mode, the .deb will be located somewhere in /home/user/MyDocs/ (keep in mind that it's case sensitive).

So the appropriate command would...

Install the .deb file either by taking red pill either by installing via xterminal with dpkg command.
