at the moment fennec is too slow to start, too slow to render pages and too slow in panning them. there is no comparison performance wise to the default browser. however I love weave and I'm sure...

I think MPlayer does play quicktime files.
The issue then is to be able to have it launch via the browser.
Waiting for that I suppose you could download the file and then open it in MPlayer.
