Yes, there has not been a fix as there hasn't been testers. But it's great that you seem to get this issue so often, so perhaps we can test and find a fix.

I can't be sure, but from the sound of it that's one highly plausible explanation how your device was locked into landscape mode unless you also used N9Qtweak or Unrestricted-UI but I assumed you did...
