I think un-installation is not removing the alarms from system alarm queue - /var/cache/alarmd/alarm_queue.ini that's why the profile is still switching at configured time.

I'm glad you liked it... but the first version I posted doesn't work well with higher resolutions. In fact, it reseted my device when I tried to capture images slightly larger than 900 lines...

I think support for developing Maemo specific Java applications (Hildon bindings...) is not even that important.

But nowadays every high end phone shoulde at least be able to run J2ME applications...
