There is a support thread,
but you are doing the mkdir command wrong, its mkdir /and and make sure you run this as root.

The current NITdroid builds are for ARM, your netbook most probably uses an atom, which isn't arm based.
There are android live CD images though, google it.

flasher-3.5 -F PR1.2.bin -f
flasher-3.5 -F eMMC.bin -fR

is the correct way to do it.

...we're waiting for a public release of the PR1.2 version of Maemo 5. It's going to contain Qt4.6 by default. Don't worry about MeeGo for now, it's not relevant to the discussion.

you could even just use the editor or wordpad but the syntax highlighting is very comfortable. :)
(especially if you want to understand what the script is doing and how it is doing)

2. Run terminal and type:
cp /home/user/MyDocs/.qf /home/user/MyDocs/qf
3. Connect to PC in PC Suite Mode and look \My Computer\Nokia N900\Data dir.

1. Unload PC Suite from memory
2. remove all from dir
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Nokia\PCSync\SynchData
3. Run last version of PC Suite.
