I just was able to mount USB stick via self-powered HUB and read it.

Device - /dev/sda1

Details will be later, but now - modified kernel. I am looking into right modification.

yes, a lower minimum frequency does not mean it that it consumes less power.
Actually, 125 as minimum was worse for me then 250 or 500 (low voltage).
If the device is idle, it goes to a 0V sleep...

1) they are hardly used. keeping all frequencies just makes it possible to set each of them as a limit.
2) yes, write a governeror for cpufreq. we use the default ondemand.
3) no, requires kernel...

1) so that it can go faster back to Idle (=0V), plus it uses a much lower voltage for 500 than stock
2) usually higher battery discharge, much more time spend at max. freq and worse responsiveness...

and turned it into the "ideal" kernel by creating /etc/event.d/kernel-maemo
WARNING: be careful, a tyop may brick your device!!

maemo22 was just uploaded to extras-devel (it may be available in 20mins).
it also supports customization of DSP frequencies.
sr_vdd1_opps_vsel was renamed to vdd1_opps_vsel.
810Mhz is now 805...

the kernel source in the repository (kernel-maemo). the latest patch in the same directories
as the ULV kernels.
