@That One Guy
Leave this thread. No one wants you here, you are not helping anyone, and you are causing unnecessary noise.

Re: N900. Confused..
My boss at Quarterdeck used to say that after you had been there awhile, it started to feel like the same user was calling up every day with the same questions, so you wanted to shout, "haven't you...

Re: Overclock the N900?
some people seem to have problems upgrading to maemo22.
I have no idea why. maybe the modules are not upgraded?
If you used one one of my experimental kernels (not the ones from extras-*)

Re: Overclock the N900?
Your device might run smooth at 950MHz, but there is a risk that you are decreasing GSM900 receiver (RX) sensitivity. GSM is narrow band (200kHz) mobile system and clock's which are using those...

Re: Overclock the N900?
I noticed that during the call both min and max are set to 600Mhz (using console via ssh).
after the call the minimum is reset to 250MHz.
can someone confirm that during extended phonecalls, even...

Re: Overclock the N900?
found it! phone calls reset it to 600Mhz.
I have no idea why the telephone app does that.
I'll check whether replacing 600 with 601MHz will ignore such requests.
(a frequency that does not exist...

Re: Overclock the N900?
with kernel-flasher-maemo you overclock by changing the scaling_max_freq (either temporarily in /sys/... or permanently in /etc/pmconfig)
with the other hardcoded kernels you don't need and cannot...

Re: Overclock the N900?
There is a new stable overclockable kernel in extras-testing (version 2.6.28-maemo19, not 18!!).
Installation is very simple: install the package kernel-flasher-maemo (section system in HAM),...
