Re: Arch Linux ARM on N900

Out of curiosity, does it "only" disables input, or put digitizer to sleep too? Otherwise, even if unused, digitizer eats quite a lot of power, due to being "on voltage" (and awaiting for input, that...

Re: Arch Linux ARM on N900

@caveman

Somewhere along the enormous amounts of kernel patches I noticed power usage doubled and I cant think of anything particular that caused it or pinpont it in any way. Currently too busy to...

Re: Arch Linux ARM on N900

I am very satisfied with the current status of the system. Arch boots in about 5 seconds, and the console is very usable. Under X I am experimenting with e17 with encouraging results.

The main...

Edit: should we use github bug tracker?

USB looks fixed, yes. However the charging is not really ok. With wall charger plugged in it gives

Re: Arch Linux ARM on N900

I just updated n900-integration to v0.2.

This includes /etc/n900_wladdr and /etc/n900_btaddr files which you can use to set wlan and bluetooth hardware addresses to whatever you like. These are...

Re: Arch Linux ARM on N900

Trying to connect a bluetooth keyboard with Maemo can be a futile endeavour since nasty and never to be fixed bugs (https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6685#c14) (classified “WONTFIX”) exist.

Re: Arch Linux ARM on N900

I need some details, you can throw me some logs and such on IRC.

Don't bother, host mode is not working with 3.5.x nor is it working in upstream, and I know it's way out of my skills to even...

Re: Arch Linux ARM on N900

It appears int_ua has some trouble with the musb modules failing at boot. Most notable effect you probably will see is the charger not getting detected. To easily check:
dmesg | grep 'usb\|isp17'

Älä hakkaa, what's the upower command? Just upower gives me nothing and I can't see anything useful in the man page.

Update:

One line would be
