If you are using Hide User Agent you can also just use firefox to access ovi store.

I had the same problem like you cool. I installed the application "Hide User Agent" and went to "settings-->Hide User Agent" and clicket on "Remove" After that I was able to...

Are you hiding the User Agent? That'll mess up the checks the Ovi store does.
