Just wanted to add that I have successfully replaced the LCD screen. Used steps from Nokia RX-51 Service Manual Level 1&2 to reinstall this display. Also found a helpful thread with the highlighted...

I paid the same amount of money that you did for my device (and full price for N810 and N800). There are no excuses here...would you rather have no front camera at all or a front camera that does...
