The latest Ovi Suite can detect the N900 and it works flawlessly. Map Loader and PC Suite are deprecated, and make sure you uninstall the other drivers before installing Ovi Suite.

FYI, the crashes only happen when radius and radius_more are set to 0, I haven't noticed anything if they're over 0 (but then again, transitions take a bit more time in that case).
