Little update on the Ubuntu theme, now added a new bar at the bottom, new icon for the battery, and ubuntu'ish desktop switcher(bottom right). Not done yet, still some smal details left :)

Dude(OP), I was very close to your situation a month ago. And I took the leap and bought the Nexus S. One of the best decisions I made all last year.

talk.maemo.org has been one sticking point as to why I've kept the phone as long as I have, it has great users and useful folks...and as always the less helpful but amusing "sell it cheap!" -style...
