Why not just fix the application and improve on it instead? I see no reason to have the same twitter-app fiasco (look at the repos, tens of twitter clients, one client misses the feature of another)...

I just submitted an updated version. You can now choose your tag line that shows on the status update. The "effing N900" is still available, or you can change it to the more pedestrian "N900 Status...
