Please try to refresh the package cache manually. Make sure HAM is closed for some time already,m like 2mins. Then
sudo gainroot
dpkg --clear-avail
apt-get update
Better reboot for HAM to also...

As soon as there are conflicts/dependencies problems, HAM pop ups with that NOKIA PC suite error. Try to uninstall the conflicting packages first, then try again. I experienced this, with last...

When you try to upgrade using the Application Manager and you get the "use Nokia PC Suite" error you might be able to press on the "details" button and there might be a "problems" button where there...

Hi make sure you have enough rootfs space for updating and add your CSSU flavor repo and in terminal
sudo apt-get install mp-fremantle-community-pr
this is how i avoided that error in HAM

I've found two related commands in my history:
857 sudo fsck.vfat -aftvVw /dev/sdb
858 sudo fsck.vfat -avw /dev/sdb

Probably the second one will be enough.

You cannot fsck a directory!
First unmount the partition and then fsck the partition (not the mount point!)

Something like fsck /dev/mmcblk0p1 or whatever it's called on the N9.
