I love mine too. First phone I'd actually pay to replace if it got lost or stolen (As opposed to going back to an old handset until my contract renewal came up)

I'm not sure what peoples expectations of maemo and the n900 should be. I use my phone for business purposes and I hammer it! I make at least 18-20 hours of calls a week, receive literally up to 1000...

I find it hard to believe that nokia will keep optimizing maemo5 when they're migrating towards meego.
And higher clock frequenzy doesn't necessarily increase the power consumption on a mobile...

Maybe I am the only one, but the thickness and weight are things I actually like about the N900. I always preferred "heavier" phones (loyal Communicator user here) over those slimfactor devices.
