thanks, but what we need is log from *desktop* powered by linux (for example, from live CD/DVD), as soon as you connect N900 to it.

They (Ubuntu) use Qt 5, not GTK. So I think lot's of developer base can be shared. Packaging is a minor issue.

I just installed the toolchain with the SDK maintenance tool and it worked. You may need to find qmake by hand on the toolchains tab if that didn't work.

I don't know what is it with the versions,...

OK mystery solved, apparently a connector from the camera to the main board got broken, so indeed a hardware issue. Just got it fixed :)

Hi,

I've been testing 1.0.7 with my n900, no problems so far.

Only minus is that I would like to choose different location for *.dng files (external sdcard). Is that possible ?

Ok, since it rebooting several times after each other is probably not a power issue. If you know how to doing it you could clean the contacts for the battery or trying to put pressure on the battery....
